Submitting a Beam Request by email will start the process. The Beam Request enables the user to provide estimates of shifts
needed, approximate dates, beams, energies, and sources of funding.
Radiation effects testing sponsored by the Air Force or NRO and local
(LBNL and UCB) nuclear science programs will be given top priority.
Other experiments will be run as time is available. Emergency requests
between quarters will be considered on a time available basis. Once your experiment has been approved, please follow our New User Checklist Prior to participating in an experiment, all users must have current Safety Training Those wishing to stay at the Lab during the course of their experiment are welcome to utilize the Berkeley Lab Guest House. It is a 10-minute walk from the Cyclotron, very affordable, and offers 57 tastefully appointed rooms with spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay and skyline. |
